Chef Amy Stillwell has a reputation in her community as a talented cook and gracious hostess.  Like most great chefs, she learned to cook at a very early age and was interested in cooking almost as early as she would walk.  Her mother guided and trained her in the culinary arts and allowed her to experiment in the kitchen.  Her mother was a gourmet cook and provided flawless meals for the family and entertained countless corporate executives during her dad's career.  The family relocated often with the company, primarily in Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona.  Cooking and entertaining were a big part of fitting in to each new community.

Chef Amy holds a BA degree in Biological Sciences from Rice University as well as an MBA from Kennesaw State University.  Chef Amy recently changed career paths and left corporate America after 20 years as a financial analyst.  She founded Relax For Dinner in order to serve her community and create exceptional meals that improve her clients' quality of life.  She views her new vocation as a calling.

Chef Amy has lived in East Cobb County for over 20 years.  She is married to Fred Stillwell, a much beloved science and engineering teacher at East Cobb Middle School.  She supports ECMS extra-curricular programs in Robotics and F1 in Schools.  She is active at her church, St. Peter and St. Paul's Episcopal Church.  She enjoys gardening, reading, and entertaining family and friends. 

Chef Amy is a Certified Member of the American Personal and Private Chef Association (APPCA), a ServSafe Certified Safe Food Handler, licensed and fully insured personal chef. As a member of the APPCA, she contributes to and receives support from a professional group of culinary peers.
